Fat Luxury

The original BowTi was aimed at offering a lighter version of our popular Henderson frame but it seems its carved its own niche in the world of fatbikes.

We bring you the newly revised version, aimed more at riders looking to do more miles in the saddle.

The beauty of titanium is its comfort and light weight, plus raw material, meaning no paint to chip. This is a bike for life.

So what's changed? In order to meet the desired ride we've tweaked the angles and added some top tube. See the geometry section

Not only is the Bow Ti light, fast and comfy but like the Henderson can take other wheel sizes.

29er wheels fit perfectly should you wish to have the option.

Of course the best setup is in Fat mode. When ordering your frame you can choose 2 rear axle widths, 4 inch tyre 177 and up to 5 inch 197mm.

The things you need to know.

  • Material: - Titanium grade 9 (3Al/2.5V)

Geo is with a rigid fork.

What fits what

We are a great believer in keeping things simple, try and use standards that exist and components that you can get in most bike shops.

We use a proper british threaded bottom bracket suitable for all type of crank. The width is 100mm. You can fit 24mm, 30mm and the new DUB axle size cranks with the suitable threaded bottom bracket.

Integrated headset size IS42 top and IS52 lower. This type of headset does not require cups to be pressed into the frame as the bearings sit directly into the frame.

The Henderson frame has a rear axle spacing of 12mm bolt though axle and the hub width needs to be 177mm.

Like hubs Fatbikes require different cranks to a regular mountain bike.

There are 2 types of fatbike crank.

These are determined by the rear axle width, either 177mm requires a 100mm rank or 197mm requires a 120mm crank, which comes with spacers to go outboard of the bottom bracket.

The Bow Ti can be ordered in both rear axle widths to suit your tyre width choice.

The seat post size is 31.6mm and the frame can take an internal dropper post, the cable routing exits the frame just above the bottom bracket then has external guides un the down tube, making it super-easy to maintain and fit.

Here is a wheel/Tyre size guide.
Rear axle width 177 x 12mm
26 x 4"
27.5 x 4"
Rear axle width 197 x 12mm
26 x 4" to 5"

Note: This is a guide and some tyre manufacturers sizing can be different to the stated size. If in doubt please contact us.
