The frame.

The BowTi, our best selling titanium frame has had a few updates.

We’ve tweaked the geometry just a little as we didnt want to loose its original do it all feel. With a slightly longer top tube, a slightly steeper seat angle, we know the BowTi will continue to deliver that true trail bike feel.

Like all our Ti frames we use Grade 9 3AL- 2.5V Titanium throughout, delivering the ultimate frame, perfect for that bike you’ve always dreamed of.

Features.

The BowTi comes with many features, rear rack mounts, offering the ability to carry your shopping, or take you off into the hills with your camping gear and a few beers. It also has 3 bottle cage mounts for extra refreshment capacity.

Another feature is guided, yes guided internal cable routing, so no faffing around changing a cable/hose. This also includes routing for a dropper post.

When it comes to choosing your drive train, the BowTi now comes with a UDH gear hanger, allowing you to go cable free should you wish.

Lastly the frame retains its curved top tube, increasing the standover for those occasions where “Emergency Clearence” is required.

Brand ambassador Andy Deacon rode his BowTi to come in 4th in the UK’s toughest Bikepacking event, GBDURO. And yes it can be ridden with a dropbar. But check the HarryBow for a specific dropbar Fatbike.

So why a BowTi?

There are a lot of fatbike out there with the majority of high end bikes aimed at snow, with rigid forks and mainly constructed from Carbon.

The difference with the BowTi is geometry, and the material used. Carbon has its place but for long term use, strength, durability, titanium cannot be beaten. Even steel has its issues with corrosion.

The geometry as mentioned is very much based around a trail bike, it can be run rigid or take suspension forks up to 130mm, (even more if you want a special build). Now mix the feel of titanium, with the with the traction and comfort of a 4.8” tyre and you have the feel of bike with 120mm of rear suspension, but without all the maintenance, that pivots and shocks bring to the party.

When it comes to performance, the BowTi will laugh in the face of roots, rocks, sand, mud and snow. You’ll find yourself riding up rough climbs you never thought possible, you’ll descend trails you ear marked for your enduro rig. The high volume tyre mixed with the geometry just inspires confidence wherever you go. Be warned though, switching back to a tradition mtb could come as a shock.

But most importantly; and I hope you’ve made it this far, a well specced Fatbike is NOT slow, on road or off!

Options.

Because all of our frames are made to order we can alter things to suit you needs, and normally at no extra cost. Things such as removing bottle mounts for a cleaner look, external cable routing instead of internal, even tweaks to the sizing.

When it comes to the drivetrain, you can also request the frame to take a Pinion Gearbox, should that suit your needs.

The standard BowTi comes with a 197mm rear axle spacing to take the 4.8 tyre but we also offer a 177mm rear spaced option should you wish to run nothing lager than a 4.2” tyre, or a 29er.

Basically we can do whatever you heart desires.
